Personality Connor has a traditional Irish temper, though he tries to keep it at bay. He's dedicated to helping people, and he's trying to stay away from the mob, but he knows there's a very active one in Boston. It's tempting to him, but he's toing to try to keep himself out of the dealings. He's afraid to get close to another woman again, though he misses the companionship. He doesn't have a problem with sleeping around, but he doesn't want to get too close to anyone again.
History Connor Murphy was born August 13, 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio. He was the second of three boys, and he was always taught that family came first. Connor was always close with his brothers while growing up, his older brother being three years older than him, and his younger being three years younger. As young kids, Connor and his brothers got into trouble a lot and their parents weren't big on discipline, unlike most Irish families. They worked quite often, so were rarely home.
By the time high school had rolled around, Connor had drifted away from his brothers. They were more into causing trouble and being rebels, and Connor was more focused on his school work. He wanted to make something of his life, unlike the way his brothers were headed. So through high school, he focused on his studies and his brothers focused on their gang related activities.
Connor tried to be the polar opposite from his brothers, and he succeeded for awhile. He had a steady girlfriend named Sarah, and he was pretty positive that he was going to marry her. When he graduated high school, he decided he wanted to be a paramedic, and he went through classes for that. He studied and passed his test, becoming a certified paramedic/EMT. He and Sarah moved in together, and life was good.
One night when he was on a duty, he responded to a call in his own apartment complex. To his horror, he discovered that Sarah had been raped and beaten. He took her to the hospital where she didn't make it through the night. Enraged and grief-stricken, Connor went to his brothers for help. They tracked down the man using the connections that they had built. They found the man that raped and beat Sarah and Connor took his rage out on the man, his brothers helping. He meant to only scare the man, but ended up gong too far and killing him.
His brothers covered up the murder, and connor began working with them when he wasn't on duty, taking his grief out on other people. After awhile, questions started being asked about the death of the man Connor murdered. Scared of what would happen if they found out he killed him, he left. He moved to Boston and hopes to start a new life there.
He's Irish, so he would claim loyalty to the Connellys. He probably won't have much to do with the mob unless provoked. He's got a job as a paramedic/EMT with Boston Medical Center, and his partner is Jeremy Hawthorne.
